Homestead Day

Today, I hung out at home all day...I got a good amount of cleaning done downstairs though, finally. I had to send the syllabi from my MA program to an ESL certification program here in PA. The program is only six classes--half of what I did for my MA. I'm hoping I won't have to take any more classes beyond what I have to do already. Fingers crossed. For my secondary English/Social Studies certification, I just have one more class, two CLEP tests, and the student teaching. I'll finish next May, thankfully. I have enough to do with my doctorate.
Speaking of which, I think I've finished all the required CITI research modules and managed to work on my dissertation some. I still don't know what's going on with my advisor, but whatever. Progress is progress.
Next week I'll likely spoil myself by getting a gel manicure and pedicure. And catch up on some overdue veterinarian appointments. Having three weeks off is going to be amazing. I'm going to get my house in order.
I might even have a date next week. We'll see. I haven't dated in years. Should be interesting.
I feel accomplished today.
