I have a bad habit of being clumsy and breaking stuff sometimes. I chipped two of my favorite plates while putting them away the other day--I also somehow broke the cover to my coffee maker. Well, at least they are still functional. I destroyed a wine glass a couple of months ago when I accidentally knocked it off the counter.
Still no updates on whether I will be accepted into that ESL certification program other than I should know in a week. Such stubbornness--so much for needed all my documentation as soon as possible. I emailed another program, but they only waive 4 credits--not a lot for me as I did my MA in the same subject.
We'll see.
I guess it's one of my bad habits (or good??) that I have limited patience for nonsense and bureaucracy.
I've made a little progress in the advance reading in my Statistics book and with my dissertation. Statistics--or well, my upcoming Quantitative Research class--is intimidating. Just trying to be ready. And my CLEP studying. About two more weeks until that test.
Then a week and a half until the teacher preparation for next year begins and two and a half weeks until the students start. I saw my rosters--some familiar names, which is cool. Then three and a half weeks until my doctorate and certification classes start again.
I will only enroll in the first ESL certification program I contacted if they waive a lot of classes. Otherwise, I'll wait until next year. I have enough to do now.
The last TPS Leadership class was good. The course was helpful overall.
