Why Not

On Friday afternoon, before a holiday weekend, I learned I was going to be observed by my teaching coach from last year...today. One business day's notice and no say in the matter. I'd learned they were doing coaching again from our assistant principal that Thursday.

The objectives of the coach and the assistant principal didn't exactly match. I emailed the coach about it and went to ask her. I also had some other questions about the toxic nature of the school's work environment and the union. She's the union's building rep.

I'm in bed, so I don't want to rant too much...however, I don't know how I feel about the conversation. Anyway, she came to observe me for a bit. The assistant principal and our lead dropped by too. The lead gave me a thumbs up. That was nice.

I'm swamped with school work though. Phew. I finally got ny overdue car inspection done...it cost me about $550 for brake pads etc. Ouch.
